Compliance doesn’t have to be a burden. At Landin Wilcock & Co, we can help you meet your statutory and internal requirements, with full accounts preparation and an audit review service including guidance on your systems and processes, plus feedback on the performance of your business.

If your limited company or LLP has two of the following:

  • Annual turnover in excess of £15m (£10.2m pre 06/04/25);
  • Assets over £7.5m (£5.1m pre 06/04/25);
  • 50 or more employees

you will need a statutory audit of your year-end accounts.

You may also require an audit to provide assurance to funders or stakeholders in the business, such as key customers and suppliers or you might just want to check that everything is okay at the year end.

Whatever your requirements, we have a dedicated team to meet your needs through our Corporate Business team.  Working with a wide range of owner-managed and larger businesses, including UK subsidiaries of overseas companies, we collaborate with you to understand the key aspects of your business which can affect your financial statements, and tailor our audit approach to focus on these areas.

Subsequent to the audit process, our team will provide you with feedback to help you improve your systems and processes and enable you to gain a better understanding of the financial performance of your business.

By using Landin Wilcock & Co to fulfil your audit needs, you are free to concentrate on the areas of your business that matter to you.

Our accounts preparation and compilation service will help you meet your compliance needs with the production of year end statutory accounts.

We can also undertake the production of consolidated group accounts for parent companies alongside the individual subsidiary accounts.

Our dedicated team can produce regular management accounts in order for you to assess the performance of your business.

Financial forecasts are vital to understanding the working capital and funding requirements of any business.

Landin Wilcock & Co can help you prepare a set of financial forecasts which you can use to help monitor performance going forward or to support an application for borrowing.

We get to grips with your business and understand the working capital cycle, peaks and troughs of trading and the impact of any expected changes in the cost base or asset requirements,  providing you with a sound set of assumptions to underpin the forecasts.

Lenders now require financial forecasts as a matter of course, and once a model is tailored to suit your business, it can be updated to meet your future needs as well as supporting a current application. We have good working relationships with local funders who appreciate the quality and credibility of the forecasts we produce for our clients.

Whether you are implementing a new system, or seeking assurance that your current procedures are operating effectively, we can work with you to ensure that you have sufficient controls within the business without creating inefficiency.

As part of the process, we will assess the effectiveness of your procedures and controls and provide guidance as to how improvements might be made to increase the effectiveness.

We can undertake the work as part of our normal audit process or as a one off assignment following a business acquisition or a change in personnel, spending time understanding the business and information flows to fully assess the quality of the processes.

Using our skills, you can enhance your business and reduce the risk of error and fraud.

Accurate management accounts are fundamental to any business regardless of size.

The availability of regular management information will allow you to gain a better understanding of your business' performance. We will work with you to assess opportunities for improvement, whether it be through a growth in the top line, cost control or working capital management.

We can prepare regular management information,  typically monthly or quarterly,  and provide a comparison to prior period performance, forecasts or across different departments, branches or divisions depending on your requirement.

Our clients appreciate our commercial insight and the focus which we place on your unique business needs in identifying key performance indicators.
